Overview of Kuta.
Speaking of Kuta as the tourist destination, it's good we know very little development of this region.
1970s
In the 1970s this area developed as a colony of hippies, beggars tourists who come from all over the world with a free lifestyle, they live in houses named pension.
1980s
1980s, developed into a special area for Australian tourists surfing. Jasmine star hotel and started to go into this area.
1990s
1990's Kuta tourist booming, thousands of rooms are always full and people start to change the front into their art shop selling bikinis and T-shirts with cheap price.
